Pastor Emily Little
I grew up in Urbana, Illinois, but have lived in the Rantoul area off and on since 1999. I have worked many jobs over the years before accepting my call into ministry. In a way, this is a second career and also a first career rolled into one!
I am married to my wonderful husband Kevin, who is also a United Methodist Pastor. We have three adult children, Amanda, Skye and Darius, as well as two fur babies: Lando, who is a Cane Corso Mastiff and a therapy dog, and Obiwan, who is a beagle mix and training to be a therapy dog.
My undergrad degree is in psychology from Regent University, and I am finishing my Masters of Divinity Degree from CTS.
I love to do crafts, read, watch movies and play board games. I am a huge Star Wars fan, if you couldn't tell by my fur babies names! In fact, Star Wars music had a big part of my wedding.
I believe in prayer, I have seen the power of prayer too many times in my life to not believe in it. I didn't grow up in the church or even church adjacent. In 2010, I witnessed a miraculous healing that changed my whole world. It was at that time that I started trying to figure out who God was and the rest, as they, say is history.
